Activity

Every movement in one list, with a full receipt.

Activity is the one history of your money: every movement across your accounts, newest first, each opening to a receipt that says exactly what happened.

  • Filter by money in, money out or a single account.
  • Grouped by day, and by month.
  • Recorded and posted, labelled apart.
  • A receipt for every movement.

A receipt for a payment marked Recorded: the status, explained as not yet confirmed as completed, then when it happened and the account

What the list and the receipt tell you

Activity shows what was recorded, labels what is not yet confirmed, and leaves out the figures it would have to guess.

  • Recorded means noted, not yet confirmed

A movement marked Recorded has been noted but not yet confirmed as completed. It is not an error and not a failure. Once it is confirmed, it is marked Posted.

  • A receipt with the balance around it

Each receipt shows the amount, the status, when it happened, the account, the balance before and after, and the reference when there is one. The balances are the ones recorded at the time, not worked out again later; if one was not recorded, the row is left out.

  • Filters, and month totals for one account

Show everything, only money in or only money out, across all accounts or just one. When the list shows a single account, each month adds its in and out totals, because every figure in it is in one currency.

  • Load more, not a made-up count

The list has no grand total and no page count. It offers Load more while there is more to show, and says “That is everything” when there is not.

Insights

The same movements, as in and out

Insights draws the movements you see in Activity as money in and money out over a period, one currency at a time. If you hold two currencies, the screen gives you a choice between them and never a figure that adds them together. Each period is compared with the one of the same length just before it.

Statements

Export the account and the dates you need

Statements turn your activity into a file. Pick one account or all of them, a period, and CSV for a spreadsheet or JSONL with one record per line. The file is prepared in the background and appears in the list as soon as it is ready, with a Download button beside it.

No guessed totals.

Month totals appear when the list shows one account. Across currencies, the app lists the movements and leaves the sums out.

Questions about activity

What is the difference between recorded and posted?

Recorded means the movement has been noted but not yet confirmed as completed. Posted means it has been confirmed. Both are in the list, each with its own label, so a movement still being confirmed is visible instead of hidden.

Can I filter by account?

Yes. The account filter narrows the list to one account, and the In and Out filters work on top of it. Opening an account from the home screen also shows its recent activity, and See all takes you to the full list for that account.

Why is there no total across all accounts?

Your accounts can be in different currencies, and adding them would need an exchange rate, which is a quote at one moment rather than money you hold. So month totals appear only when the list shows one account.

Can I export it?

Yes. Statements export one account or all of them for the period you pick, as CSV or JSONL. The file is prepared in the background, and if a download has expired, the app asks you to request a fresh copy instead of failing.
