Four ways to read a period
Pick a week, a month, three months or a year, and the currency to look at if you hold more than one.
Compared like for like
Each figure is compared with the window of the same length just before it, not with the last calendar month, so a half-finished month is never held against a whole one.
Month by month
Money in and money out sit side by side for each month of the period. The figures are counted over the whole period, not added up from the part of your activity you happen to have loaded.
By category
Every movement in the period, in and out, is shown as a share of everything that moved: money in, payments out, transfers, exchanges and the rest.
Who you moved money with
The people and businesses you moved the most money with in the period, each with the number of movements behind the figure.
See who you moved money with
The list names the people and businesses behind your movements in the period, and how many movements each one accounts for. It is a quick way to spot a regular payee, or to notice that someone you expected to pay you has not.
The whole period, on a wide screen
At a desk, Insights opens in the main column, with the period and the currency above and the same figures, bars and breakdowns below. The comparison works the same way whatever the size of the screen.
