Sessions

See where you are signed in, and sign out anywhere else.

Settings, then Sessions, lists every session on your account. Each one shows when it ends, and one button closes all of them except the device in your hand.

  • This device is marked, so you know which one you are holding.
  • Every session shows when it ends.
  • Sign out on this device.
  • Sign out everywhere else, and stay signed in here.

When a session ends, nothing else does

Sessions come and go. Your money stays exactly where it was.

  • An ended session hands you back to 0pay

The app shows that the session has ended and offers the way back to 0pay, which opens a new one. There is no sign-in form to fill in, and nothing about your money has changed.

  • Everywhere else, not here

“Sign out everywhere else” ends every other session and keeps this one. That is on purpose: the app cannot open a session by itself, because sessions are opened by 0pay.

  • Just this device

“Sign out on this device” ends only the session you are using. Your other sessions carry on until they end or you sign them out.

  • Hidden balances

If someone can see your screen, hide balances in Display settings. Every amount, on every screen, becomes the same row of dots until you show them again.

Settings

Security and sessions, in one place in Settings.

Settings gathers what you can change about the app and your account: Display, Language, Security, Sessions, People you pay, Standing orders and Statements. On a wide screen the menu sits at the side and sheets open as centred windows, but the settings and the steps are the same.

  • Security: the passkeys and authenticator apps that confirm payments.
  • Sessions: every place you are signed in, and when each one ends.
  • Display: light or dark, and hiding balances.
  • People you pay: saved destinations, and which of them you trust.

Questions about sessions

How long does a session last?

The screen shows when it ends: every session in the list has its end time beside it. When one ends, 0pay can open a new one for you.

What does “sign out everywhere else” do?

It ends every session except the one on the device you are holding. Anyone still using an old session somewhere else is signed out, and you stay signed in here. If nothing else was signed in, the app says so.

What happens to my money when a session ends?

Nothing. A session is only your way into the app. Your balances and standing orders stay as they were, and the screen shown when a session ends says the same.

Where do I find sessions?

In Settings, under Sessions, next to Security. This device is marked, and every other session shows when it started and when it ends.
