Send money
Bank transfer, wallet or Lightning, from one Send screen
Choose who you are paying and how the money travels. Before anything moves, you see what leaves your account and what arrives, and you confirm it yourself.
- Your own accounts lead the list of people to pay.
- A way to send that cannot be used stays in view, with the reason.
- The review shows what you pay and what they receive.
- Nothing moves until you slide and confirm.
From choosing who to confirming it
Pick who you are paying
First choose how you are sending it: bank transfer, wallet address or Lightning invoice. On the list, your own accounts come first, then favourites, then everyone else. A destination that is still being activated is listed, but you cannot pick it yet, and the row says why.
Enter the amount
Type it on the keypad, or in a field on a wide screen. For a bank transfer, add a reference: the person you pay sees it on their statement.
Review what leaves and what arrives
“You pay” and “They receive” are shown apart, with the currency the recipient is paid in and the destination, partly masked. Before a larger payment to a wallet address, the app asks whose wallet it is.
Slide, then confirm
Sliding creates the payment and nothing more. The money goes out only once you confirm it is you. If you do not confirm, nothing is sent.
Paste a Lightning invoice. It already says who and how much.
A Lightning invoice carries its own destination and amount, so there is no recipient to pick and no amount to type. The screen shows what the request asks for before you review it. An invoice is used once and is never added to the people you pay.
Wrong codes cancel the payment, and nothing is sent
The confirmation sheet shows how many attempts you have left. After too many wrong codes it closes, the payment is cancelled and the money never left your account. Asking for a new code does not add time, and a confirmation left open too long closes the same way.
Then it is on its way, and in your activity
Once you confirm, the screen says the payment has been accepted. From then on, the same payment is listed in Activity with its status and a full receipt, next to every other movement on that account.
Nothing moves on a single tap.
Every payment ends with a review, a slide and your confirmation. The slide only creates the payment; your confirmation is what sends it.
